  1991
Started its operation by providing tingkat delivery services to households in a 56sq m rented kitchen with 3 vehicles and 10 staff.
  1992
Set up first commercial kitchen in Siglap.
 
  1993
Another kitchen was established in Hougang to serve mainly customers in the northern part of Singapore.
 
  1995
A third kitchen with an area of approximately 335 sq m and over 80 staff was set up in Aljunied to meet the increasing demand.
 
  1997
Company name was changed to Select Catering Services Pte Ltd.
 
  1999
Operations in Siglap and Hougang were ceased and relocated to our present Senoko Central Kitchen of approximately 4,600 sq m.
 
  2000  
Set up a Halal sub-kitchen in the Central Kitchen after getting Halal certification.
Commencement of Institutional Catering business.
Awarded the “Singapore SME 500 2000/2001 Company” recognition.
Completion of our integrated computer system to facilitate operation.
 
  2002  
Granted the “Approved Training Centre” status by ITE to train staff and the public in the various areas of food service and preparation.
Achieved ISO 9001: 2000 certification for Select Catering Services.
 
  2003  
Achieved ISO 9001: 2000 certification for Stamford Catering Services.
 
  2004
Started our first Thai restaurant, Lerk Thai Restaurant specializing in Thai cuisines.
Expanded our Institutional Catering business to Suzhou, People’s Republic of China.
Successfully tendered for the development, operation and management of the F&B hub at the Singapore Expo.
Listed on the SGX-SESDAQ, where the company name was changed to Select Catering Services Limited.
Achieved Singapore Service Class Award.
      
 
  2005
Secured the contract to manage the staff cafeteria at Terminal 2 at Singapore Changi Airport.
Expanded the Institutional Catering business into Malaysia.
Set up a franchise development programme for Lerk Thai.
 
  2006
Establishment of a subsidiary company in Thailand, Select F&B (Thailand) Pte Ltd for institutional catering.
Official caterer for high profile events like IMF and Amway Incentive Group.
 
  2007
Secured contract to operate staff cafeteria at Terminal 1 of Singapore Changi Airport.
Set up of offshore catering company, Select Offshore Services Pte Ltd.
Brand differentiation of Select Catering and Stamford Catering Pte Ltd.
Name change (re-branding) of holding company to Select Group Ltd.
Achieved the Singapore Prestige Brand Award (SPBA) 2007 for Lerk Thai.
Incorporation of Stamford Quickserve Pte Ltd.
          
           
 
  2008
Started out first Quickserve outlet at Boon Lay.
Achieved ISO 22000:2005 Certification for Select Group.
Achieved HACCP Certification for Lerk Thai (Terminal 3).
Incorporation of Select Cafe Pte Ltd & Wisteria Hotel Management
Pte Ltd.
Acquisition of PG Holdings Pte Ltd (Peach Garden).
              
       
   
 
  2009
Opened Peach Garden's fouth outlet at Orchid Country Club.
Started Universal Dining establishment at Changi Airport, Terminal 2 (Transit Lounge) and Singapore Expo.
Achieved HACCP certification for Stamford Catering Services.
Branched out Lerk Thai into Malaysia, with 3 new outlets.
Official opening of klapsons and Lucas.
 
 
  2010
Secured franchise rights for Texas Chicken in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Started our first Hong Kong Sun Kee Dessert outlet in Tampines.
Achieved WSQ Training Excellence (F&B) awarded by Singapore Workforce Development Agency.
Started our first Texas Chicken outlet in Singapore Expo.
