MDM. HO GEOK CHOO was appointed our Independent Director on 30 April 2007. Mdm. Ho is the chairman of our Nominating Committee and has close to 30 years of experience in both GLCs and the private sector. She has been involved in human resource management, development and industrial relations, operations, corporate services and strategic alliance. She is Chief Executive Officer of Human Capital (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. and the Honorary President of Singapore Human Resources Institute. She holds a degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Singapore and a Master of Science in Asia Pacific HRM from NUS. Her vast experience and expertise have enabled her to value add human competitiveness to business and operations excellence. In the course of her career, she had been given ample opportunities to be involved in strategic planning, organizational development and development of employees besides HR operations. She had also been involved in the review and revamp of HR systems and processes as well as project management and change management.

MR. KWAH THIAM HOCK was appointed our Independent Director on 26 October 2004. He is the chairman of our Audit Committee. Mr. Kwah is an Independent Director on the Board of Wilmar International Ltd and Non-Executive Director of ECICS Limited and IFS Capital Limited. Mr. Kwah graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Singapore in 1973. He is a Fellow Certified Public Accountant of the CPA Australia and Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore. Mr. Kwah is also a Fellow ACCA (UK).

MR. MICHAEL LAI KAI JIN was formerly a partner of M/s KhattarWong, one of Singapore’s largest full service law firm, where he headed up the International Trade and Shipping department. He has more than 15 years of experience handling legal disputes arising out of international trade and transport with particular emphasis on marine insurance, shipping and admiralty law. Mr. Lai was the immediate past Chairman of the Advisory Body Legal Matters, FIATA, and was also the appointed Legal Counsel for the Singapore Logistics Association for more than 10 years. He currently sits on the board of various listed companies including Pan Asia Mining Limited (listed on the Hong Kong Exchange), and EOC Limited (listed on Oslo Bors).

MR. JACK TAN CHOH PENG has been our Director since 27 January 1995. Mr. Jack Tan is a co-founder of our Group. He has over 20 years of experience in the F&B industry and is instrumental in the development of our Thai Casual Dining & Food Court Division. Mr. Jack Tan is responsible for overseeing the business and sales development strategies of our Thai Casual Dining & Food Court Division.

MR. ADRIAN LEE CHYE CHENG is a graduate in Finance from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He brings with him valuable business experience from the corporate sector, both within and outside of Singapore. Mr. Lee is the director representing Jit Sun Investments Pte Ltd, the promoter of the company. He has been actively associated with property, energy, hospitality and the financial markets. Apart from holding directorships in Sim Siang Choon Ltd, another listed company on the Catalyst and Interlink Petroleum Limited, a company listed on the Mumbai Stock Exchange, Mr. Lee also holds several directorships in several private companies across different industries. Mr. Lee’s professional competence and valuable, rich multiple discipline experiences would be an immense benefit to the company.
